Lokomotywa w prawdziwym życiu

Lokomotywa EP07 jest głównie używana do transportu pasażerskiego. Posiada normalny rozstaw kół. Są przebudowaną wersją EU07, który z kolei jest następcą lokomotywy brytyjskiej EU06. Z tej lokomotywy korzysta tylko PKP Intercity oraz Polregio.

Te jednostki wciąż są używane do dziś - prowadzą zarówno lekkie jak i ciężkie pociągi osobowe.[1]

Procedura zimnego startu

Procedura zimnego startu tej lokomotywy jest prawie identyczne do EP08

  1. Otwórz klapę baterii i włącz baterię po lewej stronie (Przejdź do drugiej kabiny jeżeli nie widzisz przełącznika baterii).
  2. Ustaw kierunek jazdy i zbij SHP
  3. Aktywuj kabinę
  5. Podnieś pantografy i zaczekaj na ich kontakt.
  6. Wyłącz przekaźnik nadmiarowy i różnicowy. Zamknij wyłącznik szybki.
  7. Włącz przetwornicę, poczekaj parę sekund, a następnie włącz sprężarkę
  9. Włącz radio i ustaw kanał
  10. Ustaw hamulec główny na pozycję jazdy i wciśnij przycisk luzowania
  11. Pamiętaj o hamulcach ręcznych w obu kabinach
  12. Ustaw hamulec pomocniczy na 0.
  13. Nastaw "kierownicę" na pozycję 1. Poczekaj na zamknięcie przekaźników, a dopiero potem kontynuuj jazdę. Nie pozwól na to, by amperomierze przekroczyły 600A
  14. Na pozycji 28 i 43 możesz użyć bocznika
  15. Hamując, ustaw bocznikowanie i nastawnik jazdy na 0, i pociągnij wajchę hamulca do siebie [2].

  • Rare compressor overload switched on. This relay will trip if you turn on the compressor before the converter power supply stabilizes. Turn off the compressor and converter. Disable the compressor overload relay. Turn on the converter. Wait for the voltage to stabilize. Switch on the compressor.
