Tracks in the station
The main railway tracks are formed by the 1st and 2nd station tracks between which lies the island platform number 1. All trains arriving and departing from the neighbouring Katowice and Sosnowiec Glówny stations arrive on these tracks. Tracks 1 and 2 are secured by a standard automatic block. For the routing of trains on the Mysłowice <-> Katowice routes, station tracks 3 and 4 are used, between which lies island platform 2. For the construction of freight trains, station sidings 6, 8 and 10 are used.
A siding also runs into the station.
