Bukowno
THE STATION IS CURRENTLY NOT OPERABLE.
Bukowno is a junction station where double-track railroad line No. 156 branches off from the Tunnel line, serving as a connection to the large Jaworzno Szczakowa station. Bukowno also serves as an entrance station to the Upper Silesia region. It has as many as 10 main tracks, four of which are located by the platforms. One two-edge island platform is currently used for passenger service - while the other remains unused. The platforms are connected to the station building via an underpass. At the level of the standard-gauge station also runs a broad-gauge LHS line, on which a passing station is arranged - the last station on the line before the final station in Slawkow. Several sidings depart from the normal-gauge station, leading, among others, the Boltech plant, whose access track crosses the LHS track in one level. The station also houses the siding of the former exploitation section. Train traffic is conducted by the "Bo" control station, which has relay equipment with traffic lights and operates both normal and wide tracks. An SKP post on the Olkusz side and a watchtower on the Slawkow side, which also serves as the SKP for line 65, cooperate with this signal box.[1]
