Knapówka is one of the three existing branch stations on the CMK line. The single-track connection with the Czarnca branch station, which is on the Kielce - Częstochowa - Fosowskie line, starts here. Regular services here include fast trains from Kielce to Katowice. The station was modernised in 2005, incorporating multi-pass switches with movable crossbars adapted to a speed of 200 km/h. In addition, they allow reversing at speeds of up to 100 km/h. The track system consists of a trapezoidal switch crossing and a switch branch with a protective rib. There is an SRK Ebilock 950 type computer on the station.[https://semaforek.kolej.org.pl/wiki/index.php?title=Knap%C3%B3wka [1]]
