Pilichowice
Pilichowice is a branch station built in 2017 on one of the longest routes of the main railway line, between Opoczno and Olszamowice (32 km; the longest route on the CMK is Psary - Gora Włodowska - 36 km, but with a much smaller number of trains). The contribution is intended to help with the modernisation works (reconstruction of utilities and overhead lines) planned for this section until 2023. The complete track layout, consisting of four switches allowing speeds of up to 100 km/h in the return direction, was built in July and August 2017, i.e. during the shutdown. A signal equipped with a computerised MOR-3 type device, remotely controlled from Opoczno Południe station, was also built at the level of the points.[1]
