Olszamowice
Olszamowice is one of the smallest points on the CMK line. It has 4 main tracks and 2 sidings. There are no platforms, as the station has only a technical function. Like most stations on the CMK, it has two trapezoidal switches, which allow the station to run in the opposite direction at speeds of up to 100 km/h. The entrance to the auxiliary tracks is formed by switches that allow a speed of 60 km/h. The train traffic is controlled from the "Ol" signal.
In 2017, the station was reconstructed, which will allow speeds of over 200 km/h in the future. The reconstruction mainly included the replacement of the track surface and switches, the construction of a new signal box building and the replacement of the overhead line. The SUP-1 type traffic control relay equipment was replaced by computer equipment. The main works were completed at the end of 2017.[1]
