Olkusz is an intermediate station, located on the 46th kilometer of the line. There are 4 main tracks here, two of which run by a two-edge island platform. Formerly, one more track - No. 3 - ran by platform No. 1, but this platform is out of service and partially demolished. Completing the track layout are several side tracks, including tracks leading to the loading yard and ramp, as well as to the metal depot siding. Train traffic is handled by the "Oz" and "Oz1" control stations, which have centralized mechanical equipment with traffic lights. The control station also operates the horns on the level crossing.
