Dąbrowa Górnicza South is the only intermediate station between Ząbkowice and Szczakowa. It has 4 main tracks, two of which (main main tracks) are located by an island, two-edge platform. Behind the platform, one auxiliary track is located between the main tracks. The second of the auxiliary main tracks is located on the even side of the station. Traffic is routed here through two signal boxes, DP and DP1, which have centralized mechanical equipment, but almost all turnouts have electric drives. There is also a crossing guardhouse on the Ząbkowice side, which operates the turnouts on one crossing. One of the sidings also branches off in its area, while the other is halfway along the station tracks.[1]
