Let's show in a simple tutorial how to report a player in the game.

Reporting itself has a few such "unwritten" rules:

1️⃣ Write only English or Polish in the additional information field.

  • If you don't speak either language, write in Czech, but ideally in written form, as the developers will be translating the text and it might not make sense to them to translate it into their language
  • You can also use the translator https://www.deepl.com/translator, which is probably one of the most accurate free translators at the moment

2️⃣ Before reporting a player, it's always a good idea to check if they're actually doing the thing on purpose, because it could be that they just made a mistake

  • If you are the driver, and the dispatcher has made a mistake, be sure to ask him additional questions first (e.g. Why he doesn't want to let you in, Why I'm standing in the station for a very long time, Why he sent you there and there, etc. - the report itself might be unjustified, for example because the player is a newbie and doesn't know the game at all). If a player is trolling you on purpose, and blocking you for a long period of time. A report is in order, but definitely don't report someone just because you're standing in a station for a few minutes because of a train crossing 🙂 .
  • If you are a dispatcher, and a player is blocking your station, switches, or possibly a block between stations for an extended period of time, you can ask the player to not block the track/station and leave (if they can). It's definitely a good idea to advise him that the player can use the ESC key to "Activate bot", which will leave for him.

Actual reporting is in-game, and is simple:

1️⃣ Press the TAB key (if you don't have a description on your keyboard, it will be two arrows facing each other above the "Caps Lock" key)

2️⃣ In the list of players, find the name of the player you want to report and click on his name.

3️⃣ The table will open, in the right corner click on the "Report a player" box

4️⃣ In the table we tick the reason and describe the situation in English or Polish, and then send the report via the "Report" button(https://i.imgur.com/2oyxVWV.png)

And that's it! It's easy, now just wait for the developers to check your report. It's worth mentioning that it's definitely not a good idea to report someone intentionally and for no reason, it can backfire on you in the end. If you do report someone, think about whether the report is legitimate.

I wish you lots of fun, mileage, and most importantly, as few "spoilers" as possible 🙂
