Route in real life

The route is located on both sides of the Mississippi River and speeds can reach around 130km/h. The entire route will take approximately 3 hours and 26 minutes over a distance of 223km. It is a non-electrified track with a top speed of ~130km/h | 79mph. The Minneapolis to La Crosse Amtrak Station service, operated by Metro Transit and Amtrak, departs from the U.S. Bank Stadium Station and arrives in La Crosse. Typically, 34 services run weekly, although weekend and holiday schedules vary.

Of particular note is the drawbridge at La Crosse.

So far we do not have much information, however, it is apparent that this will be a route with diesel rolling stock from, among others, the carrier Canadian Pacific and likely Amtrak.
