列车简介

EN57型电力动车组由位于弗罗茨瓦夫的Pafawag机车厂制造，在1962年至1993年间共制造1429组。标准EN57为三节一组，其编组组成有如下几种样式：

本动车组是世界上制造时间最长的型号，作为EW55的后继型号投入运营。

基于EN57型电力动车组，Pafawag厂也设计制造了四节一组的EN71，以及为长途运输服务的EN72、EN73（也为四节一组），为城郊运输服务的EW58和三联市（格丁尼亚-索波特-格但斯克）地区设计的EW60。EW60的使用权之后由PKP SKM（三联市城铁）转交给马佐夫舍省省铁（Koleje Mazowieckie），后者对其进行了现代化改造。在EN57型整体的制造过程中，制动系统以及机械结构发生了多次改变。自1900号往后的型号，基于EW58型动车组，对外形做出了一定更改，驾驶室内设备也有所改动。

经过多年的运行，EN57被许多不同铁路公司所使用。一些依据公司不同被涂上不同的涂装，另一些则对驾驶室进行更改，还有一些针对残障人士进行了无障碍化改造。

1980年起，铁路爱好者和司机为EN57给予了"Kibel"（厕所）的昵称，昵称来源于此车早期型号排水系统设计问题，导致厕所被使用后全车会有气味。

冷起机步骤

Go to the passenger compartment and at the third door click on the fuse box and switch on the batteries, click again and unlock ground relay
In the cabin, turn on cabin activation button.
Raise the rear pantograph
Turn on the main switch
Switch on the converter
Switch on the compressors
Switch on the radio station (on the panel and then on the radio physically)
Switch the lights to the driving position
Release the handbrake using the handle on the left side of the cab.
Release the brakes
