Il pesante, mostro a sei assi ET22 (201E) con una potenza di 3000 kW e un peso di 120 tonnellate è la locomotiva elettrica con il maggior numero di serie prodotte in polonia. Dopo svariati test su due prototipi creati nel 1969, nel 1971 fu deciso di avviare una produzione in serie. Nel corso di quasi 20 anni di lavoro intenso sono state prodotte 1184 unità per la polonia e 23 per il marocco (1975-1976). Ad oggi, la maggior parte delle locomotive ET22 operano per la PKP Cargo. Tuttavia, altri corrieri hanno acquistato alcune unità e trasportato con successo migliaia di tonnellate di merci in polonia, repubblica ceca e slovacchia.

Coal is not all we transport on the SimRail network – The Railway Simulator Cargo Pack. Test your strength by pulling wagons filled with gasoline or diesel oil, but be careful because advanced physics simulates the fluid movement in the 'barrels', affecting the behaviour of the train! A new feature in SimRail - The Railway Simulator: Cargo Pack is the functional ET22 engine room!
