Dabrowa Gornicza Strzemieszyce is a junction station, with as many as 10 main tracks in total, most of which, however, are inoperable and out of service. In addition, there are 2 large groups of side tracks on the eastern side, serving, among other things, a wagon hall and loading sheds, now decomposed and partially demolished. A fan locomotive depot also functioned here, which was transferred to PKP Energetyka several years ago and is still used for that purpose today. In passenger traffic, the station currently handles residual train traffic on line 62 (3 pairs of trains); this service is possible from 2 platforms, with a total of 3 edges. The station no longer has a station building, as this one was demolished in early 2016. Train traffic is handled by the "DS" and "DS1" signal boxes, which have centralized mechanical equipment with traffic lights, with most of the turnouts in the disposing district having electric drives.[https://semaforek.kolej.org.pl/wiki/index.php?title=D%C4%85browa_G%C3%B3rnicza_Strzemieszyce <nowiki>[1]</nowiki>]
