Wloszczowa Pólnoc

Włoszczowa Północ - one of the three railway stations on the main railway line (Grodzisk Mazowiecki - Zawiercie) where passenger trains stop. In 2017, the station handled 200-299 passengers per day.

This station, where 14 pairs of trains stop, was opened for passenger traffic on 16 October 2006; the idea of its construction was supported, among others, by Przemysław Gosiewski from the Office of the Prime Minister of Poland. According to the president of PKP, the cost of building the platform amounted to PLN 909 000, of which PLN 300 000 was contributed by the city administration. At the beginning of November 2016, PKP PLK signed a contract with Trakcja PRKiI for the modernisation of the station associated with the addition of a second platform and its adaptation to the future construction of the line No. 582 Czarnca - Włoszczowa Płn.[1]

Tracks in the station

The main railway tracks are formed by the 1st and 2nd station tracks between which lies the island platform number 2. All trains arriving and departing from Warsaw arrive on these tracks. Tracks 1 and 2 are secured by a standard automatic block.

The fourth track with platform number 1 is used for routing trains from the direction of Knapówka stopping at this station.

The station also has sidings behind platform 1, which are currently not in use.
