| '''Dąbrowa Górnicza Ząbkowice''' is a junction station, where a four-track route from the direction of Łaz, consisting of lines No. 1 (passenger) and 160 and 186 (freight), branches off in the direction of Dąbrowa Górnicza and Sosnowiec Maczek (line No. 133). The station is divided into track group A, located in front of the platforms on the Laz side, which consists of 9 main tracks. A short Eurozone siding branches off from these tracks, as well as a northbound hoist track and loading tracks 29-33, leading to the ramp and warehouse. The movement of trains on the group and the turnout head from the Laz side is carried out by the "DZA" signal box, which has relay equipment with traffic lights.

| In 2013-2014, part of the station underwent a revitalization of the track system, but mainly covering the tracks of lines 133, 180 and 186. The surface of part of the main tracks was replaced, as well as the catenary network (new prototype catenary gates were built in).
