'''Dąbrowa Górnicza''' is today an intermediate station with a greatly reduced track layout. It used to have about 10 sidings, which were located on both sides of the main tracks. It was also a junction station: the line leading to today's Dąbrowa Górnicza Huta Katowice station started here, and another line to Sosnowiec Zagórze station. Today, the former exists only in a small length along the "Wiedenka" line, and the latter has been completely abolished. Also, only two through tracks (main main tracks) and two auxiliary tracks with entrance only from the Ząbkowice side remain in the station. These tracks, together with the sidings, serve two sidings.
