'''Sosnowiec Kazimierz''' is a junction station, located at the junction of three single-track tracks from Sosnowiec Dańdówka, Sosnowiec Maczki and Dąbrowa Górnicza Strzemieszyce stations. There is a station here with a forked track layout, and in addition to it, there is a coupler that allows trains to travel from Dańdówka to Maczki without changing the head of the train at the station. The station has 6 main tracks, 3 in each section, and 3 single-edge platforms. The station building, now closed to the public, was located between these groups. The movement of trains in the station, as well as on the connector, is carried out by the SKz signal box, which has relay equipment. There is also an executive signal box SKz2, which currently serves as a crossing guard and SKP. Formerly there was also an SKz1 signal box on the Maczki side, but it has been decommissioned.
